Wilson & Gill, c.1900
First Generation
1892 Wilson & Gill founded in Regent Street, London
1913 Victor Clarke joined as the third partner
1924 Victor Clarke becomes the sole proprietor
Second Generation
1924 The two sons Lawson & Raphael join Wilson & Gill
1942 Lawson Clarke gains his F.G.A.
1946 Wilson & Gill become a limited company
1947 Victor died
Third Generation
1955 Christopher Clarke joins Wilson & Gill having trained at
Biggs of Farnham
1967 Family decide to close Wilson & Gill and relocate
1969 Lawson, Christopher and Ann buy out Raymond Hester
of Hester & Sons in Aylesbury and Princes Risborough
1969 Hester & Sons becomes Hester Clarke Ltd
Fourth Generation Wilson & Gill, c.1900
1977 Nicola Clarke joins Hester Clarke having trained at Geo Tarratts, Leicester, NAG Reg. Valuer, RJ Dip
1979 Julia Clarke joins Hester Clarke having trained at E W Payne, Bromley: NAG Reg Valuer, RJ Dip, FGA
