As professional jewellers, we offer our customers a wide and comprehensive range of services:

Repairs:
Jewellery repairs of every sort - ring sizing, re-tipping claws, supply and replacement of missing stones, rejoining chains and bracelets, fitting safety catches and so forth.

Re-designing:
We can create an exclusive design, interpreting your ideas from the original drawing to finished piece. We can also re-design jewellery using the existing sones - perhaps a piece that was inherited or become out of date. Or we can remount or renovate a much loved heirloom to the original design.

Re-stringing:
Natural pearls, cultured pearls, imitation pearls, coral and beads of every description. We can clean and re-string pearls - plain or knotted - replacing damaged ones and re-graduating the rows where necessary.

Watches:
New straps and bracelets can be supplied and fitted and most batteries can also be replaced in-house. We offer a comprehensive service for quartz and manual movements - including water resistance testing and replacement glasses.

Clocks:
Long case, bracket, mantel and carriage clocks with mechanical movements can be serviced and/or totally re-furbished to as near new standards.

Silver:
From repairing handles to removing dents and splits - straightening and re-polishing new or antique pieces. We also re-silver electro-plated items.

Engraving:
We engrave coats of arms, crests and initials on stone set or all gold rings. Fine hand or machine engraving, including facsimile, on every type of metal item.

Gift Wrapping:
Your gift is placed in a Hester Clarke box, wrapped and be-ribboned to suit the occasion and placed in a glossy Hester Clarke carrier bag. This free service is an essential part of the Hester Clarke experience.
